Cleaning mini blinds can be a task especially if we do not properly do it. If you have no time at all, you do it once every two week albeit the ideal would be once a week cleaning.

First step in cleaning your mini blinds is to close first the slats. After completely closing them, you can now dust off everything.  You must have a lamb wood duster as this will efficiently do the job. The dusters made from wool of lambs have natural attraction to dusts and so it easily takes them off the slats, thus preventing the build up.

If wool is hard to get, then you can actually use paintbrushes for dusting. By the way, when dusting your blinds, make sure you have cloth or old newspapers down the area where the dust would fall in order not to mess up your floors.

Cleaning mini blinds might involve having to remove any form of grease or oil. To effectively take such materials off your blinds, you need to have an all purpose soap or cleanser. You have to let the soap stay and work on the slats for some time. Afterwards, wipe with a cloth to take off the cleaner together with the dirt. Rinse your blinds thoroughly.

Vacuum cleaners are gadgets you may use in mini blind cleaning. Ideally you should utilize the hose attachment of your vacuum. There is no need to take off your blinds from the window when vacuuming them. After cleaning, you may place a dryer sheet which will remove static in order to eliminate the attraction of dusts to your window mini blinds.

spray bottle attached to it, I used it on the blinds. Now there are spots all over and every finger print shows up. What can I use to remove these marks and start over? I now know that I cannot use this on the blinds. Please help???
