Window treatment ideas for windows that open left to right?

The bedroom windows slide open left to right in lieu of up and down. 46″H x 52″ W in two bedrooms. Width is master bedroom is 65″. Would like to use vertical blinds but concerned short blinds may look goofy. Open to any ideas.

I am not very excited about vertical blinds. Does anyone know of something that’s practical, yet attractive? We like to see out during the day, but do need something that will give us complete privacy when closed at night (or to block extreme sun in summer).
